Nova's Special Moments ... trophy

Nova is no longer with us. Our hearts are broken. As a show dog, she accumulated 18 points (one major) but died before she could get the final major to make her a champion. She will always be a champion in our hearts. Thank you to the "good sportsmen" that pulled their dogs rather than see her get that last major. I have to admit, I am very bitter because she so deserved it. She tried so hard to be a good showdog, though it wasn't her "style". She was more comfortable just being a pet, snuggling on a couch, rather than showing off at a dog show. She had Best of Breed and several Best of Opposite wins.  Her last year she discovered showing could be lots of fun - and looked forward to shows and dog class. She would get so excited and let out her happy yell if she thought she was going. I miss the "show Bog" but I miss the cuddly Bog most of all.
